The Curious Nook offers a very flexible floorplan. The main residence features a gourmet kitchen with dining table and open plan living area. The first floor features the main bedroom with a shower and separate powder room. The top floor features a large loft with a queen bed. The bedrooms are very generous in size although the stairways are narrow (60cm) so bear this in mind if you have extra large luggage. The detached studio/home office is across from the main residence and features a pull-down queen bed, ensuite, laundry facilities and desk.

Sleeping arrangements: The Curious Nook sleeps 4 – with the possibility of 6 if sleeping in the loft, noting the showers are located in the main bedroom or the ensuite in the detached studio). Bedroom 1 (Level 1): Queen bed, built-in wardrobe, heating, shower. Bedroom 2 (detached studio): Queen bed, built-in wardrobe, desk, split system, ensuite with shower, toilet and laundry facilities (please advise at the time of booking if your preference is to have the bed folded away). Loft (Level 2): Queen bed, hanging rail, split system (please note dormer windows do not open).
Bathrooms & Laundry: There are two bathrooms, noting bedroom 1 has a shower with a separate powder room located in the hallway and the detached studio has a shower and toilet. Bathroom 1 (Level 1): Shower in bedroom 1 and separate powder room in hallway. Bathroom 2 (Detached studio): Shower, single vanity and toilet. A hidden laundry is located within the en-suite in the detached studio and includes a washing machine and dryer.
Outdoor: Cook up a storm on the built-in gas BBQ. An outdoor shower is perfect for washing off the sand after visiting the nearby beaches.
Pets: Cats and dogs are welcome at this property but must abide by our terms and conditions. Charges apply for bringing pets – please advise us at the time of booking or prior to arrival if you are bringing a pet.
Parking: Parking is via two street parking permits (Please observe street signage at all times.)
Location The Curious Nook has everything needed for a luxurious stay, with the added convenience of being on the doorstep to Ripponlea Village with its many shops, cafés and restaurants and public transport. 140ms from Ripponlea Train Station. 280ms IGA supermarket. 3km to Elwood beach.
