Caldermeade is set high amidst trees and native landscape, offering sweeping views of the bay and the spectacular terrain of Blairgowrie! From the moment you drive into the property, you will be in awe.

Caldermeade boasts an impressive collection of bronze sculptures by world renowned artists Gille and Marc. Greeting you on arrival on the front deck is ‘Circle of friends’ , 12 Life sized Chinese Zodiacs loosely based on Ai Wei Wei’s Zodiacs.

Please be warned: The sculptures are ‘formidable’ so please view photos thoroughly to inform young children of the adventure they are in for!

There is also a Rhinoceros (Life Sized) ‘Come out, Come out wherever you are’ plus Dogman, Rabbit woman and Deer man The property is quirky and eclectic and will appeal to Art Lovers.

Also features a stunning entertaining/pool area, designed to enhance the rustic landscape, complete with sun lounges, day bed, and firepit.
The pool is yet another architecturally design feature of the home – with optional gas heating making it perfect to use all throughout the year.

* Floor Plan *
Caldermeade comfortably sleeps 11 guests across 4 bedrooms with the option to accommodate 2 additional guests on a separate Double bed in the den.

* 4th/Top Level * – Master bedroom with a private balcony to take in the views, as well as a spacious modern ensuite and with robes. Beautifully decorated with soft furnishing with split system and ceiling fan, TV / DVD, and Foxtel. Just perfect for a parents retreat or couples wanting that extra bit of privacy and indulgence.

* 3rd Level * – Kitchen/Dining and Lounge living, fantastic open plan area with luxurious furnishings incorporating eclectic chic decor with funky artwork and artefacts, selection of floor rugs,big screen smart TV, split system air-conditioning unit, and a Coonara fireplace which compliments this living zone, very comfy and welcoming! The adjoining kitchen is modern complete with all the latest appliances including an induction stovetop and coffee machine. This level also boasts 2 outdoor alfresco areas which are located off the lounge area. Off to the right-hand side, you will find an outdoor table setting for 10, which look out over the trees. While the other side offers another amazing entertaining area, complete with a day bed and chairs overlooking the tennis court. Perfect for the morning cup of coffee and reading the newspaper.

* 2nd Level* – Upstairs entrance to the property comprising of 1 x Queen Size bedroom, built-in robe, TV, and main bathroom which has a Scandinavian feel with lots of wood, sleek, and very modern, separate bath and European laundry. Adjacent is “The Den” – full of nostalgia, step back in time! Floor to ceiling bookshelves full of books, board games and memorabilia. Why not play a tune on the piano or play one of the many LPs on the turntable? Or simply sit back and enjoy modern technology with Large Screen television, Foxtel / dvd with a wide selection of dvds to choose from. This room oozes character, furnished with retro chairs, a big comfy lounge and double bed – the perfect entertainment room for teens or adults wanting to retreat for some solitude, rest or a few quiet drinks or an extra bedroom for larger groups. You will also find access to the backyard with another fabulous entertaining area around the firepit, decked out with chairs! Perfect for those colder evenings or just sitting around having a quiet drink and toasting marshmallows. Adjacent to the fire pit is an outdoor hot water shower, perfect to rinse off after the beach. The gas heated pool and spa leads off this area as well, with sun lounges and a daybed with canopy.
There is also an outdoor cooking area with Weber barbeque and Pizza Oven on the second level, leading out from the living room.

* 1st/Ground Level * – Another two bedrooms, one comprising of 1 x Queen bed and 1 x Single bed, built-in robe, TV, and private door/access to the front deck overlooking the yard. The other bedroom comprising of 2 x sets of Bunks and a built-in robe. Common bathroom with shower, toilet and vanity, ultra-modern, and very tasteful.

Last but not least, the full-size mod grass tennis court is without a doubt one of the highlights of this property, complete with a fully fitted-out bar/kitchenette, with sink, standard fridge, wine cooler fridge, dishwasher, and microwave. Also comfortable, relaxing outdoor lounges and chairs. Vintage tennis racquets mounted on the walls – one could dream they are playing at Kooyong!
