The Location – The townhouse is just 300m to the pristine and sparkling waters of Shoal Bay Beach and all the delights along the foreshore including a selection of cafes, restaurants and boutique shops There is a boat ramp, trailer parking, BBQ, picnic facilities, tennis court hire close by, bike hire, kayak and SUP in the warmer months and don’t miss walking to the summit of Tomaree Mountain, which offers stunning views. Close by (2.5km’s away) you have the lovely patrolled (Sep-Apr) surf beach of Fingal Bay, also offering a cafe, restaurant and children’s playground, plus a great off leash dog exercising area. Nelson Bay CBD is 3.2km away, and offers boutique shopping, award winning restaurants, fishing co-op, specialty stores and dolphin cruises down at the Marina. Bagnalls beach is a lovely off leash dog friendly beach and is about 5kms from the holiday house. Please note: that the East coast of Australia is a paralysis tick area and we recommend applying precautions for paralysis tick to your dog (check with your vet).

The Townhouse – This generously proportioned townhouse is a natural entertainer, with a bright open plan living space as well as a delightful north facing balcony at the front fitted with table and chairs and a gas BBQ. The property is tiled throughout with the windows fitted with stylish plantation shutters, giving the dwelling a sense of freshness. The townhouse is also pet friendly, making this property even more appealing. The open plan living area is on the upper level and offers air conditioning, a leather corner lounge, a flat screen TV, Foxtel and a sturdy dining table and eight chairs. The well equipped kitchen comes with a full fridge/freezer, microwave, oven and stove top.

There are two bedrooms on the upper level, one offers a queen size bed, small TV and built in robes and the other has a double bed with built in robes. The main bathroom is fitted with a bath, glass shower, vanity and toilet. Downstairs is the third bedroom which offers one double and one single and has access to a rear courtyard providing outdoor furnishings and a dog bed. Also on the ground floor is the laundry with a front loading washing machine and dryer accompanied by another shower and toilet. The townhouse also offers a single lock up garage for our guests to use. There are definitely smoke alarms at this property.
